A Lesson from a Daughter

Our youngest daughter. She's quiet much of the time. You rarely know what she thinks of a situation until after the fact when she's had time to reason and process. The Lord used her to speak to me tonight.

She was praying aloud and spoke these words-

"God, I just pray that Ruslana is happy and safe."

And that's all I needed to hear. Thank you, Lord, for using my precious daughter to speak to me. Thank you, L, for so freely speaking The Truth. I, too, pray that she is "happy and safe". And I know she is.

In Him,
E

Hello I am fairly knew to your blog..and have been brought to tears in the reading of some of your past posts...I have an Uncle with D.S. and he is now in his mid60s He is under the care of his sister my Mother..the stories that she has told me about how things use to be back then and how society even looked down upon them even more than they do today..and how her Mother-my Grandmother presevered through..He is completely dependant..He doesn't talk and has been in a diaper since he was a baby..The doctors say it's a miracle he is even alive today...May the Lord Bless and Keep you and these Little Babes that He has so lovingly Knitted together...For God makes no mistake...It's man alone who does...

What a mature little one you have there!

For the placemat, I believe it was babies-r-us, it was used by my girl's (that's why it's pink!) but I saw a blue one the other day there and about got it but thought-this one works, who cares if it's pink!

Thank you for your prayers on Ruslana/Eliana's behalf. She is blossoming before our eyes! She is starting half day pre-k next week! I know she will always hold a special place in your family's heart, and she is indeed a very special and very loved little girl! I have been really bad about not posting enough pics on our blog, but hope to have some new ones of Ms. E on there soon!
Many Blessings to your family,
Mary
