Yes, it has to do with our adoption. It stinks. And honestly, it makes me sad and angry, but we all know that our Lord is not those things. We have to press on and give Him the glory.
I am married to one inspiring guy. Tragedy shaped him into a most amazing man, and he has risen above the ashes! I do believe that God chooses things to happen to each of us for a reason, and I am so blessed and honored to be a part of that reason everyday. He is a true testament of God's glory and grace- and it's not just me who thinks that.
We truly feel like God has answered many, many prayers to get us to this point, and He'll carry us through. We are passionate about children with Downs and know we will be blessed to be involved with them however He sees fit. We are not quitters nor will we just take a step back and throw the towel in. God will have the last word- I can promise you that.
In Him,E

You guys are fighters! WOO HOO! What a beautiful couple inside and out!
I too say.....BEAUTIFUL Couple Inside and out!
Hang in there!!! His plan is PERFECT for your life.
Seems to me that this is a common occurrence. Keep praying!
Oh the enemy--of course he will throw anything and everything your way to cause you to stubble and fall. STAND FIRM, friend. Put on the full armor of God and do not waiver! Do not look to the left or to the right, but keep your eyes on the prize, the finish line. Run with perseverance. You WILL obtain the prize!!!!
Oh.. Hang in there sweet friend!
Psalms 138:8 says..
The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, Oh LORD endures forever, Do not forsake the work of your hands.
this verse got me through many difficult days in our adoption! I pray that it will help & encourage you too!
Hugs!
Hi, there!
I'm LC Boom Boom's mom...just wanted to let you know I sent an email and will be visiting to check in with your progress and delighting in your success when your miracle arrives...
The wait is the worst, but I assure you the groundwork is being laid down...I lost faith SO many times waiting for LC. Then, after she was born, I was considering her gestational development with one of her cardiologists and learned that her heart (which had multiple defects and allowed her diagnosis to be made via ultrasound and caused ANOTHER couple who had committed to adopting her to change their minds...) had been in formation during the week I decided we WERE going to pursue a DS-specific adoption.
Have faith that things are quitely unfolding and look forward to the delight of learning how the plan will be revealed when you're finally holding your sought after little one.
I am praying!!
We have adopted 3 times. Each time I have worried that challenges would keep us from adopting. I "should" know not to worry. I do know. But I am human and often very weak.
God was faithful and brought each of our children home. I will be praying He will work a miracle in your lives as well.
We would appreciate your prayers for our daughter, Abby.
If you would like us to add you to our blog roll, just leave a comment and I will. I would love to follow your story.

I realize my story is a bit different, but i think it might be similar enough to offer some encouragement. I tried for almost 10 years to have children. I used to beg God to help me understand why i couldn't. Can't even tell u how many tears i cried. BUT THEN.... after i had all but given up he blessed me with not only one child but soon to be 6. God and his grace are soooo good! I think ur passion towards downs syndrome children is beautiful, He gave u that passion for a reason :)
