I'm the meanest Mom in the world...

See. I must say that I've never done this before, but you know- all 3 of my girls are wired differently. And this is the discipline that worked yesterday for our youngest after she decided to throw a stick at her older sister. So, yes. I may be the meanest Mom in the world, but I now have the sweetest 8 year old! AND she will not ever throw another stick. Right, L?
And the paper is so wrinkled because I thought it was something else and threw it away. Phooey! I was going to have it framed for her so she'd never forget!:) Just kidding.
In Him,
E

I have done this before too. I works well with my son since he does not like to write. So if your the meanest mom I guess I am too ;)
P.S. It works. We moms have to be creative.

UM.. We have our kids write ALL THE TIME! Great therapy :) And THEY HATE IT..All the more reason to press on. We also make them either write a commmandment they have broken or research a Bible verse to go with their transgression :)

Lol, if you are the meanest mom in the world, I hate to think what that makes me. We use write-offs a LOT with my 9 year old. He is a very visual learner, so to see his "wrong" over and over usually gets the message through. We are finally down to about 1 write off every other month....ahhhh, the joys of ADHD, heehee!!

For the older one (11), we make write a report. He has to do research on the internet and write about why he did what he did, what he found the results could be, etc. He doesn't get in trouble much, but when he does, it's something HUGE and dumb, so we have to squash it hard!

You know, I have never used that form of discipline. I need to try it. I have a few that hate writing.
