I'm apologizing ahead of time for me being so scattered in this post. I am just writing as I think of things. Sorry.

Yes, we're still in Florida and praying that we receive clearance tomorrow. We had to head back to the agency yesterday to sign a form for GA clearance stating that we indeed know baby boy has Downs and we accept the health risks that come along with it. This was already in our paperwork, but evidently GA wants a separate piece of paper saying we understand.

We've had a busy couple of days. Tuesday we ventured out to watch the Blue Angels practice. Amazing...simply amazing. Never, ever will you catch me doing that. At NAS there is a wonderful museum with so many hands on activities. The girls loved being able to climb into the planes and pretend to fly. It was very cool. Baby boy slept the entire time.:)

Yesterday, after stopping by the agency, we headed out to the BEACH!! The girls were in heaven. I love watching them there. They have no cares in the world. As soon as we stepped onto the sand, they didn't skip a beat and began digging and searching for shells. We didn't plan the beach trip very well as it was high tide during our time there. Pensacola has some nice areas but is not some place I would choose to come on vacation. Just too commercial for us. I will say, though, that the beaches are beautiful- white, white sand and beautiful, clear blue water.

I want to share 2 things that have happened during our stay here. Today, hubby had to visit the front desk (yet again) to extend our stay another day while the girls and I were at the pool. He shared our adoption story with the lady at the desk. They had a nice talk about adoption- both domestic and international. After their chat, he joined us at the pool before the rain began. We scurried to our room to take showers and begin lunch. There was a knock at the door and who was there but the lady from the front desk....with pizza for us!! She had ordered us lunch! What a dear!

And God is using us despite our distaste for this place after so many days stuck in one room!! He is still reminding us of the reasons we are here. OF COURSE, for the gift of our son of whom we are so unworthy, but also to help touch the lives of others and bring them to adoption. While at the agency on Tuesday (yes, we had to go Tuesday, too), one of our favorite caseworkers asked us if we'd be interested in making a trip back. What?!! Be interested? Like, coming back here voluntarily?!! Her church is starting an adoption ministry and she wanted to know if we'd make the trip back to tell our story. Absolutely! What an honor. To be able to share our love for Christ, his children and the ways he has worked in our lives is a true honor.

Angel boy chillin' at the pool
And I'll update more later when I have news. I have to go snuggle with a cute little boy.
In Him,
