When the drier goes out and you are in the midst of 2 adoptions.....this is what you do. I've always wanted a clothesline. I guess now I get one. In the meantime, the front porch will have to do.

All of our extra $ is going toward the adoptions right now so the drier will have to be fixed later. I'm fine with air drying everything. Actually, I LOVE IT!! Things dry much faster this way and they have a certain freshness about them. My house isn't heated up even more during the 95 degree days, and we are saving on our energy bill. It's amazing how quickly they dried out there today. I bet we did at least 5 loads in record time!

What we thought may be a huge kink in our daily plans turned out to be a nice reprieve. The girls and I laughed about our porch and what the neighbors were probably thinking while spreading out then folding up clothes. Good thing our closest neighbor isn't very close.

Another funny thing about the whole situation was when our friend, David, rang the doorbell. I wish you could have seen the look on his face! And Leigh, I'm sorry I wasn't here to explain. Thanks for looking beyond our front porch!
I look forward to doing laundry tomorrow! What a blessing God gave us in disguise.
In Him,
E

Improvising--I love it :)
Thinking about you heaps, sweet friend.
I LOVE it...you are practicing for EE, LOL. You can get a clothes line and clips at dollar general really cheap if you have a place to tie it up, you can have TONS more room for about $5....just a thought. But I like the front porch approach :)
That works! I love your porch...it's beautiful!
